Countersunk Euro screw for flush installation
Countersunk Euro screw for flush installation
Countersunk Euro screws are used for installation in pre-drilled system holes where the screw head should sit flush with or recessed into the hardware. They are especially suitable for hardware with conical or countersunk screw holes.
Common applications
- Hardware with countersunk screw holes for a flush and discreet installation
- Hinge plates where the screw head should not protrude
- Drawer slides and pull-out hardware in pre-drilled 5 mm system holes
The screw is used for fastening in pre-drilled 5 mm system holes in cabinet carcasses, particleboard, or MDF. It provides an even installation when the hardware is designed for a countersunk head.
Difference from a standard Euro screw
Unlike a standard Euro screw with a rounded head, the countersunk Euro screw is intended for hardware where the hole is conical or countersunk.
The result is a flatter installation where the screw head does not protrude from the hardware.
